Pimlico Road Design District will form a part of London Design Festival for the first time this year, bringing a unique insight into design in Belgravia.
An annual event, London Design Festival (LDF) celebrates design in all its forms, and promotes London as a leading world city for design.
Over 400 exhibitions and events are staged throughout the festival. Organisations and collaborators will be showcasing a diverse range of contemporary design projects, and this includes architects, designers, retailers, and artists.
First held in 2003, this year the event runs between 16-24 September 2017.
The V&A, an institution dedicated to the history and future of the decorative arts, will be a centrepiece of the festival, hosting installations, exhibitions, workshops and talks.
The events, exhibitions and product launches will be held at numerous locations across London, including Somerset House.
Just one of the must-see events will be an installation by Camille Walala, a textile designer, at Broadgate Circus, Liverpool Street.
Also part of the festival is the ‘Landmark Projects’, a mixed programme of installations.
For those who enjoy contemporary design and want to participate in the celebration of the work of innovative designers, we recommend you pay this festival a visit.
