Mayfair’s Grosvenor Square will host three weeks of cultural entertainment and performance this July as the Summer in the Square event returns.
The event will run from 3 July – 23 July 2017, from 11am – 8pm, and feature a varied programme of live entertainment, sport, games, theatre, and music.
Some evenings will play host to the Grosvenor Film Festival, where guests can sit in comfortable deckchairs, enjoy gourmet food and refreshments, and take in some films.
The Summer in the Square event is free for all, and is part of Grosvenor London’s commitment to putting on events for the local communities in Mayfair and Belgravia.
The event is ideal for those with children in tow, but will also appeal to adults of all ages.
One of London’s largest garden squares, Grosvenor Square was, prior to WWII, one of the most exclusive residential addresses in London.
Grosvenor Square has long been home to a statue of Franklin D Roosevelt and the US Embassy. However, the US Embassy is due to move from its current site to a new building over at Nine Elms later this year, after which the embassy building in Grosvenor Square will be transformed into a luxury hotel by David Chipperfield Architects.
More information and details on this event are set to be released soon, and will be available via the link below:
