What to expect during a Virtual Valuation
When selling or renting your property, one of the first and most important tasks is to obtain an accurate market appraisal and during the current COVID/Coronavirus situation we are now offering ‘Virtual Market Appraisals’ to landlords and homeowners, to enable us to provide a market valuation without the need to visit your property.
Our valuers will use comparable evidence to support the valuation figure, comparing your property to similar properties in the area, taking into account any variations such as size, condition, aspect, additions to the property, outside space, tenure, positioning on the road etc.
This, in conjunction with our teams’ expert local knowledge and experience helps us to form an accurate idea of what the property could realistically achieve on the market.
Once you decide to go ahead, you will be offered four options:
- LIVE VIDEO WALK-THROUGH: We will organise a video link so that you are able to show us around your property.
- RECORDED WALK-THROUGH: If you send us a video of you walking through your property.
- TELEPHONE APPRAISAL: If you prefer, we can organise for you to talk with one of our team.
- DESKTOP APPRAISAL: We can provide you with an estimated valuation if you provide us with your property address, approximate floor area, list of rooms and decorative condition.
