Shoppers at iconic Knightsbridge store Harrods can soak up some Milanese chic this spring, thanks to a new cafe that celebrates the prime Italian fashion label, Prada.

The pop-up cafe launched at end of March and will remain open throughout the year, closing in January 2024.
A fashion superpower, Prada was founded in 1913 and is known for effortless style, often in monochrome. The pop-up borrows its look from the brand’s legendary boutique on Milan’s Corso Vittorio Emmanuele II in Milan, with its chequered floor and green velvet upholstery. The glass and tableware feature pale-blue Japanese porcelain and blown-crystal with the signature Prada triangle.
The Prada Caffé is open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch, dinner, light meals and aperitives. As you might imagine, there’s a modern Italian slant to the menu – for starters try the buffalo mozzarella with zucchini or brioche with crab and dill.
Mains including a range of the country’s classic dishes, such as spinach and ricotta cannelloni with parmesan cream and black truffle or fish of the day with sun dried tomatoes, oregano and capers.
For light bites, there are dainty tramezzini sandwiches or pizzettes (baked puffed dough mini pizzas). You’ll find a rich selection of sweet treats too, including tiramisu, apricot sacher-torte and a 72% dark chocolate cake.
When it comes to drinks, there’s a range of signature cocktails – Tuscan Blossom and Italian Fizz, for example, alongside the usual negronis and Aperol Spritz. The wine list features a selection from across Italy.
And as the weather warms up, look out for an outdoor gelato stall too!
Read more in Time Out and check out the full menu on the Harrods website.
